Who Founded and Reason Why

Thomas hooker and other colonists founded the now state, Connecticut in 1636. The main reason why this colony was founded was for religious freedom and separation of church from state. Separation of church from state means the distance of the relationship between religion and the state.

Climate and Economic Resources

The New England colony was the coldest of all colonies. This consists of mild and short summers leading to long cold winters. Also for economy they focused on town life and industries such as ship building and the manufacture and export of rum.
