October has been a very busy month! We celebrated Decision of Respect Day, recognized Pillars of Character and Red Ribbon Week. The nine weeks ended on October 15th and the second nine weeks will run from October 18- December 17th. We hope you find this information helpful. Pillar Breakfast
The counseling department held a Pillar Breakfast on October 14th. Teachers and counselors loved hosting and honoring our students and parents!

Students in Ms. Goldstein's 4th-period class displayed examples of what respect looks like on campus. They received 1st place and their award was a free pizza party. Nice job!
Mr. Britt's Class
Mr. Britt's 4th-period class displayed what respect looks like with a wonderful theatrical theme! They received 3rd place and earned fruit paletas for all students. Great job!
Ms. Hernandez Class
Ms. Hernandez's class displayed a fun theme to show what respect looks like at Stinson and it was in SPANISH!!
Awesome job! They received 2nd place and earned nachos for the whole class.
The David's Legacy Foundation did a great and very informative presentation. Thank you to those who were able to join us on October 14th!
Red Ribbon Week October 25th-29th
S.A.C.A.D.A. Presentation
Students enjoyed a presentation from S.A.C.A.D.A. (San Antonio Council on Alcohol and Drug Awareness) to spearhead Red Ribbon activities.
RRW- Spirit Week
Teachers and students joined in the fun with our daily themes during Red Ribbon Week.
Informative Table
Students visited the Red Ribbon table that had information on the dangers of tobacco use, vaping, alcohol and marijuana.
SAPD- S.A.F.F.E. (San Antonio Fear Free Environment) Unit
We kicked off Red Ribbon week with multiple activities and community support. San Antonio Police Department, Prue Substation-SAFFE (San Antonio Fear Free Environment) visited with students on October 26th to discuss the meaning behind Red Ribbon Week and safety tips.
Brandeis Mentors in the House!
Girls Mentor Group
Brandeis volleyball players are pairing up with some of our Stinson girls as part of a Brandeis/Stinson Mentor Group
Mentor Program
The Brandeis/Stinson Mentor Program started this month and is off to a great start! We have some fun activities and outings planned for the school year. We love to see the connections being made and the mentoring given to our Stinson students.
Boys Mentor Group
Brandeis football players are Mentors to our Stinson boys. The first meet & greet was a successful one!
