CASCADIA TECH ACADEMY
Cascadia Tech Academy provides necessary professional skills and technical knowledge to enter high demand occupations with confidence and pride.
Students completing grades 8th through 11th this year are eligible to enroll in online summer school courses for .5 credit. Summer school will be June 22 – July 10.

Union Building Trades Apprencticeship Programs

EMPLOYMENT
Full-time and part-time Package Handler Warehouse positions - Portland
FedEx Ground is hiring part-time and full-time individuals to load and unload packages in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Part-time employees typically work a 2-4-hour shift per day. Full-time employees work approximately two shifts per day of varying lengths.
Package Handlers are responsible for warehouse duties including: physical loading, unloading and sorting of packages of varying sizes and weights by hand, and some lifting. Shifts may vary depending on warehouse package volume and business needs.
Package Handler positions (Warehouse Workers)
UPS is hiring part-time Package Handlers. Locations are: Swan Island, Cascade Station, and Vancouver.
This is a fast paced environment where you will be constantly moving and be on your feet for the duration of your shift (3.5 - 4 hours a day). Duties include loading and unloading packages as they come into the facilities and lifting up to 70 pounds.
If you’re a student at an approved college, university, trade or technical school, UPS offers an educational assistance program that could provide you with up to $25,000 for tuition, books and fees. If you qualify, you’ll be eligible for the program on your first day of work at UPS.
