Geothermal energy what is it?
Geothermal energy is the natural heat generated in the interior of Earth and released from volcanoes and hot springs or from geysers that emit heated water and steam. This energy is created by the heating of water and using the steam as energy. The benefits of using geothermal energy are its a direct use, it reduces the use of non-renewable energy and it has no pollution. On the other hand some disadvantages are its not a widespread source of energy, the area can run out of steam, and its only suited for a particular area.
