No Excuses University @ Bear Creek

At Bear Creek, we are proud to be a member of the No Excuses University Network. As a No Excuses School we believe that every student has a right to be educated in a way that prepares them for college. We discuss goals, have college conversations, and end our announcements each day with the phrase "After high school comes college"!

Around the World @ BCE

Around the World at Bear Creek is an International Event that will take place on Thursday, Jan. 24 in the Bear Creek Gym. Parents and students from various countries share culture, clothing, foods, music, dancing and other facts about their country of origin. Everyone is invited to this FREE event from 6:45-8pm on Thursday, Jan. 24. **Students are invited to wear traditional clothing from their country of origin for this event (to school and also in the evening on that date.) A note from PTA

On January 29, 2019, Laughter League will be performing at Bear Creek Elementary. The performers of the Laughter League utilize the transformative power of humor to impact the lives of the children and families they serve. They offer school assembly programs for science, math, language arts and bullying as well as residency programs for students aimed at teaching core subjects through the lens of physical comedy and circus arts. We are excited to have them at our school and continue teaching our students about using good character traits. The event is being made possible by our Boosterthon Fundraiser and grant from the Texas Commission on the Arts. We truly appreciate the generous support of our BCE families and Texas Commission on the Arts.
