Ash Wednesday Chapel on Wednesday, February 22

We have been invited to join the school for Chapel on Wednesday, February 22. Here is a letter from Mrs. White, the school principal, explaining the chapel.

Dear Parents,

Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent. This is the season of the church year that leads up to Easter. It is also a time to reflect on the sacrifice Jesus did for each one of us and the forgiveness we are given each day. On Wednesday, February 22 our students will be participating in the school's chapel. As the students leave chapel they will have an opportunity to receive a cross from ashes on their forehead or on their hand as a sign that they are forgiven and "from dust you are and dust you shall return."

Parents are always welcome to join us for chapel at 8:20 in the Sanctuary.

Classroom Contact

Each of the classrooms has their own phone. We ask that you contact the individual classroom in regards to your child. Messages are not always received on the office phone in a timely manner so there may be a delay in the classroom teachers getting your message. We also ask that you not contact the teachers on their personal phones or via any class sites such as Class Dojo. In order for the teachers to be adequately supervising the children they cannot be checking their phones for messages from parents. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Childcare Sunday

We will be celebrating Childcare Sunday on April 2. The children will be singing at the beginning of the 10:45 service. They will be working on some songs over the next couple of months so we hope you and your family will be able to attend. This is a great opportunity for the church family to meet the children and families that are a part of this important ministry. It is also an opportunity for you to meet the people that are praying for your children and family.

Snow Days

Snow Closures: if the county declares "Emergency Travel Only" District #5, Trinity School and Child Care will be closed. You can tune your radio to KOFI (1180 AM) or Bee Broadcasting (98.5 FM, 105.1 FM, 95.9 FM, 106.3 FM, 880 AM, 1240 AM) to obtain the most current school information about school closures. You can also check online at Flathead County Superintendent of Schools-School Closures @ flathead.mt.gov/schools/closures.php
