No Taxation Without Representation
By: Jake Zitur
Colonist complain lack of representation
A named James Otis protested today and said no taxation without representation. Colonists chanted this through Boston. They said Britain can't take anyones property(money) without representation, or Britain can't take anything without colonist's consent. But many loyalist say " Britain only taxes so they can provide and protect the colonies". James Otis doesn't care he formed the Committees of Correspondence, this committee brought people together, they shared ideas about how Britains laws and acts were unreasonable and ways to challenge them. They also came up with ways to protest like boycotting. King George had every right to tax us, it was for the good of the colonies.
