What I'm Listening to
If you were riding with me this is what you'd hear.
Be a Lifelong Learner
Fast forward to 2010 when my drive to work became a 1 hour commute, one-way, with spotty radio reception in places. I began listening to episode after episode of that podcast series that I had subscribed to for my history class. When I listened to every episode of "SYMiHC" I went searching for more things to listen to during my drive.
Over the years I have lost interest in some or the podcasters have quit producing them, I really miss The Tobolowsky Files. In an effort to not be just a taker I will now share the things I'm listening to in an effort to give back. My hope is you will begin to enjoy podcasts and fill your drive time with learning.

That is the description of the podcast. What I'd like to add is that this podcast will stay with you for a while. It is almost as if you become a part of John's life. I felt as if, by the end, John was someone I had known my entire life. I live in Alabama and although I've only seen the Woodstock sign on the highway I have been to the other places you learn about in this podcast. At one point I even uttered "Roll Tide" as I was listening. I found myself in "oh yeah" moments along the way as I was so immersed in someone's point of view I forgot to think about the other's. This was just a wonderful podcast and it made traffic on I-65 N from Montgomery to Birmingham, on a Friday afternoon, go so quickly (and if you've traveled that before you know that's near impossible).

He keeps me up to date with new websites, strategies and apps as well as introduces me to educators who have stories and information to share.
