These summaries are not meant to replace minutes. The minutes for each meeting are approved and posted after the next regularly scheduled meeting. We hope these summaries provide some basic information and context around the reports, presentations and action items. Approve Contract for Strategic Planning Consultant | watch

In December 2019, the Board approved engaging with a facilitator to work with the District on developing the District’s new Strategic Plan. The Strategic Planning Committee (SPC) met to begin the process in early 2020. This work was halted in March 2020 due to the pandemic. The process was scheduled to restart this school year using the same consultant, Consortium for Educational Change (CEC). However, CEC was unable to secure a consultant. Dr. Kaczkowski has identified Steve Webb Group, LLC, who has experience in working with districts on strategic plans.

Adjourn to Closed Session

The Board conducted a Board Governance Review/Self-evaluation with a representative of the Illinois Association of School Boards as required by Board policy.
