Cullman City Schools
The Week in Review - March 1, 2019
"The Dog Ate My Homework"
We've all heard it. That age-old student excuse for not having homework. But, sometimes there is evidence to support the claim. A CCPS student has the most recent example.
Meeting a Need
EES students in Mrs. Casey's class made a positive impact in our community by filling The Little Pantry. Learning to care for others is an important lesson.

It's in the Books
The Cullman Rotary Club recently made this generous donation of books. We appreciate your support of CMS and all of Cullman City Schools. Community partners who support our schools are so important in the success of our students and teachers.
Celebrating Success
WES celebrated reading success this week. A trip to the bowling alley provided a great opportunity for these hard working readers to enjoy a little fun!
Read Across America
Every year a highlight is the Read Across America celebration and Dr. Seuss' birthday. This year was no exception. Students and teachers had a great time celebrating the joy of reading.

WES is so proud of Max S., a 5th grader, who won 2nd place in the state in the Alabama Arbor Day poster contest. Way to represent Cullman City Schools!

Ready to Unfurl
Thank you to Ken Bates and the Woodmen of the World for donating a new State of Alabama flag to CHS. Mr. Bates and this wonderful organization are always supporting CHS by providing these beautiful flags for us to fly.
