Henry Ford
LIFE OF HENRY FORD
Henry Ford was born on his fathers farm on July 30, 1863. In 1879 he left the farm and became an apprentice Michigan Car Company. In 1888 Ford married Clara Bryant. In 1891 they moved to Detroit where Henry had taken a job as a night engineer for the Edison Electric Illumination Company. In 1896 Ford finished his first self-propelled car. A second car followed in 1898. On June 16, 1903 Ford Motor Company was started. He introduced the Model T on October 1, 1908. He died on April 7, 1947 at the age of 83.
