Keeping Lombard families in the loop

Welcome Back & Happy New Year!

We hope all of our Lombard students and their families found joy during the winter break. Our Lombard team is looking forward to welcoming our students back to school! Our hope is that we can do whatever it takes to keep our students and staff safe and healthy. We know that people are frustrated and exhausted from the challenges facing all of us. We applaud our Lombard families for your sacrifices and trust in the Lombard staff. If we continue to work together, we can have a successful school year. Please remind your child how important it it is to wear his/her mask properly, wash hands regularly, and keep hands, feet, and other objects to him/herself. Our students have had to endure a lot during these past few years, so the more we can work together the easier it will be for our students. Our students deserve to be in school!

Keeping our Students Safe

What happens during Homeroom?

Families, do you ever feel disconnected from the middle school setting because your child has so many teachers? Homerooms can be a great place to make you feel more connected to our school! A Every day your child starts their day in Homeroom. Building relationships is a priority at Lombard, and our Homeroom is a place to focus on social emotional learning! During the holidays we carve out extra time in our homerooms for teachers to do special activities with a smaller group of students. If you have a chance, take some time to connect with your child's homeroom teacher!

CHAMPS FOR BEHAVIOR EXPECTATIONS

Lombard Middle School staff will use the CHAMPS acronym to reinforce expectations in various areas of our building and activities done in the classroom. This acronym will help students know what is expected so that they can achieve successful results!
