Stephen Hill speaks with Juniors and Seniors
Stephen Hill recently told his story to our junior and senior classes on Friday, May 12th to remind them to make good choices in this important time in their high school careers.
Stephen Hill is the founder of Speak Sobriety, a young person in recovery, bestselling author, recovery coach, and a fierce attorney advocating for treatment over incarceration—is a renowned national speaker on substance use prevention & mental health awareness with a truly inspiring comeback story that everyone must hear.
A once promising student-athlete barely graduated high school, dropped out of numerous colleges, was arrested several times, misused deadly amounts of drugs for nearly a decade, was in and out of countless treatment programs, lost his friends, and cost his family tremendous emotional and financial hardship.
Today, Stephen teaches people to be resilient by not only maximizing their strengths, but also taking what most people perceive as a weakness or negative experience and turning it into a life lesson for personal growth.

Anatomy Classes Learn a Valuable Lesson about Perception.
Students in Mr. Lafferty and Ms. Cydis' Anatomy classes learned about the importance of perception especially when "driving." Students learned how distracting it can be to look at your phone while riding a bike then comparing that to what it is like while driving a car. Distracted driving can cost lives. Thank you to Ms. Cydis, Mr. Lafferty, and Officer Pastic for educating students in this impactful way.
