We are so happy to have you join the team!
Our goal is to make you feel as confident as possible as you start your teaching journey with Inspire.
What should I be doing now?
- Make sure new hire docs are submitted to the necessary person in HR per the email you will be receiving.
- Attend Boot Camp and the High School training.
- Become familiarized with our program content; especially the HST ha.
- Promote the school and build your roster from students outside of Inspire. Please be a good teammate and leave already enrolled students on current teacher's rosters.
- Set up Inspire email upon confirmation that yours has been created.
- Set up email signature per directions below.
- Once you have a roster you will be able to approve orders for your students
- Grow your homeschool heart.
When will I receive my first paycheck?
- New Teachers will receive a $250 stipend for Teacher Training which is paid on July 31st.
- Part Time Homeschool Teachers receive a $250 stipend for the Back to School Retreat which is paid on August 15th.
- If you work to build your roster and support families before your start date you will be paid $500 on July 15th and on July 31st.
- Your first paycheck will be on August 15th*
*If you reach full time Status before July 1st, all part time stipends will cease and full time pay will begin. If you reach full time status after July 1st, full time pay will begin on July 16th.
What is our meeting schedule for the year?
- We will meet two times a year with our entire team. The back To School San Diego meeting will take place on August 5th and August 6th in person. There will be another whole team meeting in March.
- You will meet two times a year with your cohort team. These will be in October and January.
- The remaining monthly meetings are in person with your Regional Coordinator.
What should my email signature look like?
When creating your signature line, please use the following format:

Additional Homeschool Teacher Requirements
- Volunteer as a support teacher at Community Days.
- Proctor 10 days of Testing
- Attend Back to School Event, Graduation, and End of the Year Party.
- Plan 1 field trip per year
- Fulfill adjunct duties (assigned by RC)
New Teacher Training Dates
Please choose the location closest to you to attend. It is highly encouraged to attend the 1st training available. You will be required to attend one initial and one secondary follow up training.

Take time and study this resource!
You will not be able to access this until you have your Inspire Email address set up.
