Fall Benchmarking
Fall benchmarks will be administered to students in kindergarten through fifth grade. For grade levels second through fifth grade, students will need working headphones to complete the assessments. These brief assessments evaluate student academic performance and growth in the areas of reading and mathematics. Results are used by teachers and administrators to assist with instructional planning and differentiation at the grade, classroom and student level.

COVID Dashboard
Positive cases of COVID-19 each school in Indian Prairie 204 can be found on the District's COVID Dashboard. The dashboard includes all positive cases of COVID-19 reported to District 204 for individuals who were on campus. The information is updated each Monday by 4 pm. If your child is in close contact with someone who tested positive, a member of the COVID-19 Response Team will notify you directly regarding the need to quarantine as a precaution. Win $1,000 for Your School
BMO Harris Bank and District 204 are proud to bring back the Volunteer of the Month program for the 2021-22 school year. Each month, a deserving volunteer will be honored and his or her school will receive $1,000. Any District 204 staff member or community member can nominate a volunteer. The first volunteer for the 2021-22 school year will be honored in September. Each nomination submitted will be kept on file for consideration through May 2022. To nominate a volunteer, visit Volunteer of the Month
Nominate a Staff Member for the A+ Award
The Indian Prairie Educational Foundation and Wells Fargo Advisors are partnering for the eighth year to recognize our outstanding staff members who go above and beyond to make a difference in the lives of our students. One staff member from each of the elementary, middle and high school levels will be recognized each month. Each winner selected will receive funds from Wells Fargo Advisors to use in his or her school. Parents, alumni, and community members are encouraged to submit a nomination. All nominations will be kept for consideration until the end of the current school year. Nominees must currently work in the district. To nominate someone who is making a difference, visit A+ Award.
Boundary Committee Update
The boundary adjustment process is ongoing. Decisions have not been made, and proposals have not been created. The committee is examining concepts to look at every possibility based on capacity limits and projected enrollment in each building. There are a vast number of options to address attendance area adjustments. Concepts that are discussed during the boundary meetings are not proposals for boundary adjustments. However, each and every option must be evaluated in order for the process to move forward.
The community is invited to observe all boundary committee meetings. There will also be an opportunity for community members to view concepts and provide feedback before the final proposals are created and presented to the board of education. The community’s feedback will be incorporated into the final proposals that will be presented to the board of education for approval.
The community forums will be held at our three high schools on the following dates.
Monday, November 8 at 7 pm - Waubonsie Valley High School
Tuesday, November 9 at 7 pm - Neuqua Valley High School
Wednesday, November 10 at 7 pm - Metea Valley High School
The next boundary committee meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 8 at 6:30 pm at Still Middle School. For more information on the boundary process, to view meeting materials, or watch meeting videos, visit 2021 Boundary Committee.
