Ethics for Texas CPAs

... an Ethics Course for Texas CPAs taught by Professor Allison McLeod.

Texas Certified Public Accountants (“CPAs”) are required to take a four-hour course once every two years to maintain their licenses. This course and the instructorMUST be approved by the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy.

Professor McLeod is an approved TSBPA sponsor for these courses and can issue Continuing Professional Education ("CPE") certificates authorizing the credits if the client does not have their own sponsor number.

This course is approved ethics CPE for Texas CPAs and will not qualify for the CPA licensing requirements for other states

Professor Allison McLeod

Allison M. (Yee) McLeod, LL.M., JD, CPA, is a Senior Lecturer at the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas.

She received her Bachelor of Business Administration and Juris Doctor degrees from Baylor University, and a Master of Legal Letters (LL.M.) degree specializing in Taxation from the Southern Methodist University School of Law.

Professor McLeod has been licensed to practice law by the State Bar of Texas since 1992 and has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1993. She is a member of the AICPA and the Dallas Chapter of the Tax Executives Institute.
