CEASEFIRE VIOLATED
Tensions and violence are on the rise in Kashmir
12 Injured -- Children Included
Pakistani troops in Kashmir fired machine gun and mortar rounds over the dividing line last week, injuring 12 people, including children. Violence has been increasing in the territory over the past few months, and even though it is not quite clear whether things will escalate more seriously just yet, it's beginning to look as if future disputes might be far worse.

WHAT'S NEXT?
More Violations Possible
According to reports, Pakistan has violated the ceasefire agreement over 100 times this year alone. These incidents have forced those who live near the Line of Control to flee. At this rate, if the ceasefire agreement continues to be violated, the area will be completely unfit for living, and violence may escalate deeper.
