CES Parent Update
Week of October 25, 2021
Dear Families,
Thank you for joining us for our Howl celebration on Friday and to all of those that donated to make the event a great success. A special shout out to our PTO and parent volunteers who worked tirelessly to ensure our event ran smoothly. They perfected every last detail!
As I walked around with my own family, I couldn't stop thinking about how lucky we are to be a part of such a special community and I'm so grateful that we get to make memories and engage in annual traditions with our son and all of you. While we always have room to grow and improve as an organization, there is comfort in knowing we are in it together, all working towards the same goal- happy and healthy children learning at high levels.
Grateful for you all,
~Allyson Jordan, Principal
Reminders:
There is NO parking along the side of the road during arrival or drop-off. This is becoming a safety risk and we cannot take the chance of having an accident with our students. Please take an extra few minutes to follow our procedures to keep everyone safe and model integrity for your children.
Please participate in the Panorama survey if you receive it. We currently have 12% participation rate. We want to hear your feedback so we can make CES the very best for all our students and families!

Lunch Visitors & Volunteers
As a result of this drastic decrease in COVID-positive staff and student cases, we feel confident we can move into Phase 2 of our school volunteer reopening plan starting Monday, October 4th.
We will welcome parents back on campus to enjoy lunch with their children on assigned days to avoid overcrowding in the cafeteria and to ensure an enjoyable lunch experience with your child(ren). We are also going to welcome back classroom volunteers as needed. Lunch visitors will be seated along the back wall of windows separate from the class. Due to limited space, please refrain from bringing multiple family members to allow seating for all students and their special visitor. If space is full, students will be given seating priority. Remember that all school visitors must have their driver's license available upon entry and all school volunteers must complete a volunteer application.
Assigned lunch visitors are divided over 4 days, Monday through Thursday, with Fridays rotating each month for an assigned alpha. You may join your child on his/her birthday regardless of the day assigned. Assigned alpha days are as follows:
Monday: Last Name= A thru D
Tuesday: Last Name= E thru K
Wednesday: Last Name= L thru Q
Thursday: Last Name= R thru Z
FRIDAY Rotation
October- Last Name= A thru D
November- Last Name= E thru K
December- Last Name= L thru Q
January- Last Name= R thru Z
Each class is staggered, so please check with your child's teacher for their specific start time.
10:30-11:09 Kindergarten
11:00-11:39 First
11:30-12:09 Second
1:00-1:39 Third
12:00-12:39 Fourth
12:30-1:09 Fifth
As always, staff and student safety is our number one priority and our mitigation practices remain a fluid situation. We will continue to seek guidance from our state and local healthcare providers and closely monitor COVID-positive cases in our District and respond accordingly. We thank you for your patience, cooperation and understanding throughout this school year. We look forward to seeing you on campus!
Panorama Parent Survey
Our WatchDog program consists of Dads or Father Figures of Great Students who volunteer at their children's school. They will perform a variety of tasks including assisting with carline, office deliveries, monitoring the building and much more. Please be aware that at this time parents cannot be in the classrooms or cafeteria but we have plenty of areas around the school that need your help.
There are 2 volunteer slots each day: Morning (8am-12:30pm) & Afternoon (12pm-4:30pm).
Please click HERE to sign up for ONE SLOT ONLY
ALL volunteers must pass a background check through Tomball ISD before participating!
Please click HERE to complete the Background Check.
We look forward to your participation and hope to see many dads at Creekview Elementary!
