Spring Has Lots in Store for South Side!
We are reaching the final push of the school year at South Side Elementary. Over the last month we have had many evening activities for lots of our students and families. We have also completed the first round of ISTEP testing for grades three through six. As we head toward spring break, we will all continue to challenge our Trailblazer students to show great character and continue to set and achieve their goals. We appreciate your continued support with reading daily at home, providing a consistent bed time schedule, and showing your child that you are there for them. These are all healthy and extremely important duties for parents to take care of in order to provide children with what they need to thrive.
Please contact me with any questions or concerns. Happy Spring!

TechBlazers Season Comes to an End
After participating in three Vex IQ Robotics competitions, the TechBlazers 2017-2018 season comes to an end. Just like the robots, this team went from several individual pieces to a well-built team. The TechBlazers have shown so much growth during this year’s season, growing as a team as well as individually. Their teamwork and sportsmanship skills have shined bright through each high score to each robot malfunction. Ms. Roberts and Mrs. Bowman are very proud of the engineers that make up the TechBlazers team.
