3rd Grade Clap Out 2021
The 3rd Grade Clap Out is a fairly recent tradition at John Sevier Elementary. The goal of this tradition was to allow the K, 1st, and 2nd grade students and staff to applaud and recognize all of the 3rd grade students as they exited the building at the end of the school year. Family members chose to line up outside the building to clap for their students as well. It has been a challenging and unusual school year, but we are happy that we are able to continue this tradition and celebrate a successful school year!
At 10:30 am on May 20th, parents and family members may line up outside the auditorium entrance/exit to clap as our 3rd grade students begin to leave the JSE building for the last time.
We will have a clearly marked area for parents and family members to stand and clap for all 3rd grade students outside the Auditorium entrance/exit. No students will be dismissed to leave with their parents or family members until all students have been through the line.

Announcement for Parents with Pre-School Aged Children
Maryville City Schools will offer pre-kindergarten classes at each elementary school next year. The IPK will be a program that offers preschoolers with and without disabilities challenging experiences through a curriculum emphasizing social/emotional, physical, cognitive, and language development. The integrated pre-k program follows the Maryville City Schools calendar. Students of families who meet income requirements may attend free of charge.
