District update regarding after Winter Break
Our buffer week of remote learning after Thanksgiving Break was successful in preventing a number of quarantines due to positive COVID-19 cases among students and staff.
*We are asking our BAE teachers to send home laptops and chargers with students prior to winter break. This is as a precaution, but also will allow children to access educational sites and resources over break should they want to.
Appreciating our History!
Blue Ash Elementary is more than a building.... We are a community, partnership, and family. To quote from the school's 100 year celebration, "The story of Blue Ash is in the lives and hearts of those who have dedicated their lives to providing the best possible education for our community's children. The story lives in the minds of those who have learned there and can be see in the faces of the children still learning there."
While this school year has been a challenge, our children, parents and staff are carrying on the tradition of excellence, as well as the tradition of kindness, generosity and partnership.
THANK YOU to all for continuing to make Blue Ash Elementary the great school that it is!

Kindness through COIVD-19
Students in the Cincinnati community have created a video to help us spread kindness through the challenging times of COVID-19.
We hope you take a moment to watch and share this video about Kindness through COVID-19.
“It goes without saying…” is a phrase that is often used to express a thought that should be shared openly. At Blue Ash Elementary, we have always known that our parents are wonderful, supportive, and dedicated to our children and teachers. But we sometimes leave this important thought unsaid.
Parents that have taken on the role of “Learning Partner” - We see you, and we appreciate you now more than ever. This has been a challenging year for families…..but to take on the role of Learning Partner, on top of Caregiver….a unique challenge to be sure.
So we want it to go as being said - We know it has not been easy, and that there have been sacrifices you have made in order to make this experience a success for your children. We see you. We appreciate you. We thank you for your dedication, determination, and selflessness; and we look forward to when we can be back together under the roof of our beloved school again.
