A Valentine's Day Concert
Presented by TWHS Orchestra
Hello and Welcome to our St. Valentine's Day Concert. First let me apologize for the delay in posting this concert, but as we have all been cold and shivering in the dark over the last few days, I'm sure that you all will forgive the delay. This concert has truly been the hardest concert I have ever had to produce, so many challenges have popped up that could have derailed this concert, from having to record it, to losing our initial recording dates in the auditorium, to my computer crashing as I am editing, thank God for I-Cloud backups, to me losing power and internet as I am trying to upload the videos. Who knew that we would be dealing with unprecedented winter weather in the middle of an unprecedented pandemic, when it snows it blizzards I guess. However, despite all the setbacks, it truly warms my heart to see and hear all the hard work and perseverance that the students put into making this concert happen. I am so proud of all the work they put into this event in just the few short weeks we have had since coming back from Winter Break. I hope you will forgive us any slight flaws you might hear, and join me in enjoying and being tremendously proud of all our student musicians. Now please sit back, relax, and enjoy our Valentine's Day Concert, and may the beautiful music of our students bring joy, love, and gladness to your hearts.

I Will Always Love You
Most people may know this song from Whitney Houston's amazing romantic version of the 90's; however, Dolly Parton wrote this song back in the 70's in Tribute to Porter Wagoner as she was leaving his Television Show to start her solo career. He was the first person to give her a break in show business, and for that she has been forever grateful. I am so thankful for all the opportunities that this job, community, and all of my students have given me. So in the vein that this song was written in, to each and everyone of my students this song goes out to you. Please enjoy this classic song arranged by Robert Longfield.
