Andrew Jackson

The Seventh President

Who is Andrew Jackson?

Andrew Jackson was a very influential man to many of the future presidents. Jackson was also strong man and had beliefs that the federal government should have more power and be more strict. Jackson also forced Native Americans out of their native and spiritual land. But at the same Jackson was a commanding officer in the military. Andrew Jackson's parents both died when he was 14 years old. So he grew up with all the authority during his childhood and learned how to kill game and live for himself.

Jackson did not want the people to be more in charge of the government. Jackson is just like the modern day democratic but a little more strict.
