MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Welcome Back Robinwood Jaguars!!! Though winter does not want to leave, I am hopeful we will see more spring-like weather in the days and weeks to come!
This past Wednesday we held our 3rd “ROAR Assembly '' This assembly focused on the “A= Always Kind,” being kind to self and being kind to others. 4k-2nd grade identified self affirmations to put up on our Kindness bulletin board and 3rd-5th grade identified random acts of kind to practice.
To continue the focus of Always Kind at home, students were given a Random Acts of Kindness Bingo card. Click HERE to preview it. These cards promote daily acts of kindness either at school OR at home. Remember, when you can be anything, Be Kind!
In addition to our Kindness focus, we also celebrated Mr. Palmer’s retirement. Students make cards and staff purchased a gift for him to send him off with lots of love! We wish Mr. Palmer the best in his next chapter as he and his wife make their way to their new residence in Florida in a few weeks!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Bombien

The Robinwood 4th Graders topped off their study of The American Revolution with a MUSICAL!! The 4th graders dusted off their dancing shoes, brushed up their acting chops, warmed up their angelic voices and transformed themselves into the key players from the American Revolution! From Betsy Ross and John Jay to Thomas Jefferson and Ben Franklin, these 4th graders took us back in time. John Hancok even made an appearance along with a sneaky Benedict Arnold. From the hit song, "Tell Us, Betsy!" to the rousing song, "Taxation" where Sam Adams fired up the colonists to protest King George III. These 4th graders brought The American Revolution to life! "Down, Down, Down" explored the Boston Tea Party and "Ride On Paul Revere" with its catchy hand jive tune introduced us to Rachel Revere who sent Paul off on his historic ride. Congratulations to these courageous, talented and entertaining performers!!

LOST & FOUND
MESSAGE FROM MR. BAUER
Parents, hope everyone had a wonderful break and are excited to get back to school. For the next few weeks students will be working on improving their manipulative skills of overhand throwing and catching. We will discuss in class teaching cues that go with the physical skill of throwing. Along with that, we will play a variety of throwing activities to give plenty of opportunities to improve. We will discuss that mistakes are a good thing and it's how we learn to improve.
