October Highlights
Author Michael Perry in Eleva
Eleva Intermediate School read Michael Perry's Scavengers as an All-School Read during the fall. The school then met with the author to learn about life as a writer and ask questions about the book.
National Book Award winner, Steve Sheinkin, at Central
About 100 students attended the author's talk. Thirty students were given & read one of his nonfiction, historical books. They met with the Mr. Sheinkin during the earlier book autograph session!
