What is CF?
CF, aka mucoviscidosis, is the building of mucus in the lungs, pancreas, and other organs. Blocks airways, witch causes lung damage, and in the pancreas the mucus clogs pathways that lead into the digestive system.

Of the 70,000 , 30,000 of them are in the U.S.
About 1,000 new cases are reported each year
70% are diagnosed by age 2
About 50% are 18 and older
CF has increase dramatically through out the year

.thick mucus gets stuck in airways
.food is not digested properly
Cause of disease
To get this disease both parents must have a defective CF gene, but only their is only a 25% chance of getting this disease.

Cures to disease
Their is no cure to CF but their is ways to treat it like going to a therapist, CF care centers, exercising, maintaining healthy, clearing mucus, and some medicine.
Tobacco with CF
Tobacco will worsen the symptoms of lung damage greatly. Smoking lessens the lung capacity. Tobacco and CF just don't mix, you would just be making matters worse for you.
