New Math Curriculum!

Parents, we are excited about our new math curriculum for our K-5 students that will roll out next year. It is called Illustrative Mathematics and is a problem-based curriculum aligned with the curriculum that is already in place at our middle and high schools. Check out our PUSD Parent and Student Canvas Resource Site! You will find helpful resources to learn more about what a problem-based curriculum is, supporting materials, and videos!

Library News

As we come to the end of this amazing school year, I would like to extend my gratitude to the wonderful volunteers of our GRES library: Cassy Russell, Brook Waller, Lindsay Capilli, Marlie Robinson, Rosa Carlson, Julia Dodson, Elizabeth Wood & Erika Hebeler. Thank you for your energy, dedication, and enthusiasm throughout the year! Your support is greatly appreciated, and I am hoping to see all of you next year as LIT Crew 23-24.

A special shoutout to Vanessa Jones & team, for hosting the book fairs & getting Scholastic dollars for buying many new books for our library.

Finally, I want to thank each student and parent of our GRES family. This past year we have grown together as when I teach, I also learn!
