PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Kia ora tātou,
I am thrilled that our attendance has improved, it is lovely seeing so many children at school more and more. School-based learning cannot happen if the tamariki are not here.
As part of our ongoing work, we are looking at how we engage with others (tamariki, whānau, iwi, and wider communities) and have come up with a definition to help us. We are keen to hear your thoughts on the underlined definition below. We know some 'teacher-speak' is in there, so please feel free to challenge us on this. Please email me (principal@levineast.school.nz)
Students will be focused, intrinsically motivated and positive about their learning, proactively contributing ideas, asking questions and making connections. They will take risks, problem-solve and show sustained effort (persistence) and resilience. Students may practice, revisit or share their learning.
A lot of after-school sports start this week - thank you for supporting the teams and all the best to our players.
Kia pai tō wiki.
Ngā mihi

Last year's event raised over $8,400 for KidsCan.
This offer is open to our staff and our community. It gives everyone the opportunity to unlock amazing deals during the two-week period, starting on Monday October 31st and running through until Sunday November 13th, 2022.
