I want to congratulate the 398 students who made the honor roll this quarter. Of those students, 224 of you got straight As. What a fantastic accomplishment, especially during a completely new model of educating students. Now that we are settled into a routine, I challenge you to increase that number for quarter two.

Part of the right of passage is having swag from your school. Due to distance delivery, students have not had much opportunity to purchase shirts, hoodies, etc. We have partnered with BSN to offer a Romig swag store that will deliver items directly to your home. Established in 2011, Rock Your Mocs is an annual Native American & Indigenous Peoples movement held in conjunction with Native American Heritage Month. It is easy to participate by wearing moccasins or indigenous footwear to school, work or everywhere. If a person does not own moccasins, cannot wear moccasins, or perhaps their Tribe did not wear moccasins, they may wear a Turquoise Awareness Ribbon instead. Through social media, participants can post their photos for everyone to enjoy, share stories and help create an “online photo album” by using the following hashtag: #ASDRockYourMocs2020 #ROCKYOURMOCS.
