Infant Child Care
A group of staff members inquired about opening an infant/toddler care room here at Erin School for their children. We always look for ways to make Erin School a great place to work; retaining high-quality teacher is a priority. After investigating the licensing rules, other programs in other school districts, and talking with the school board, we are going to pilot an infant/toddler daycare program at Erin School starting next school year. This program is not a school daycare but a daycare located in the school. This program will run in a similar financial structure to our before and after school care. The daycare will be completely self-sufficient and no taxpayer money will be used in the operations.
We are looking for a person who is interested in taking care of the four little ones. The position pays $15 per hour and the applicant will work on the days teachers are at work (191.5 days). Weekly hours are: Mondays 7:45 to 4:30, Tuesday-Thursday 7:30 to 4:00 and Friday 7:30 to 3:45. The selected applicant will get a 30 minute lunch break. We are opening up this employment opportunity to current staff and families of Erin first. We are hoping to interview Wednesday, April 25th after school. If you are interested in this position, please complete a support staff application which can be found on the Erin web page under District Tab/Employment. Return the application and a cover letter to the District Office as soon as possible.
If you have questions, please contact Dr. Kriewaldt
