Anti-Heroes

Who and What are Anti-Heroes
There are anti-heroes and then there are flawed heroes. Macbeth's downfall was his own fault, caused by his hunger for power. Macbeth possessed the qualities of being of a higher status and being praised for his nobility. Macbeth was full of greed and he was full of pride. These caused him to want more and to believe that he was invincible. He ended up being killed, because from the beginning, Macbeth decided to take fate into his own hands.
V, from the book/movie V for Vendetta, was an anti-hero because he fought against the "monsters" (the government). The corrupt government, that V fought against, covered up murders, diseases, and death camps that they built for people who were "different" from citizens in society. V made sure everyone knew of his existence by blowing up the Old Bailey, then discussing his plans with the public about him blowing up the government like Guy Fawkes did in the 1600s. Unfortunately, V did not get to blow up the government himself, but he had opened up Evey's eyes enough for her to see the wrong in the government, so she blew them up instead of V.
