Jessica Ammiller
Jen Borosh passed the pin to Jessica Ammiller. Jessica is a team player. She never hesitates to offer suggestions for all learners and works tirelessly to help them reach their highest potential. Jessica has a wonderful rapport with people of all ages, especially children. We are fortunate to have Jessica on our team!

PIE Time Inventory
During PIE time, all teachers should be providing prevention, intervention, or enrichment, most likely using small group instruction, while others are reading independently to build stamina while they practice skills or working on center/stations independent practice.

As a building:
We understand that some students need a different intervention than RM- so we have designed interventions to meet the needs of those students’ specific skill deficits for some groups of students.
We have dug deep to find adults to provide interventions, support, adjustments, and feedback in addition to gen ed teachers and Title I, to include ISs, classroom assistants, and Parma retired teachers.
We need to get stronger at collecting and look carefully and regularly at formative assessments, the “checks along the way” we do, and with student work/writing samples to ensure flexible grouping during PIE is targeted to students in need both for intervention and enrichment.
The above is the power of collective efficacy, a powerful resource that we have as a building!
I will be communicating the above with our Curriculum and Instruction Team, Tiffany Stropko, and Amy Szermat, as well as Dr. Smialek at our next Principal's Check-in meeting.
