Peter and Paul's Fortress
The fortress was founded on May 27, 1703. It`s served many purposes in the past : it was city’s garrison and a political prison. Now you can visit museums and relax on a beautiful beach .
The Winter Palace
It is the most famous building in Saint-Petersburg located on the south embankment of the Neva River. It was the residence of Russian tsars. Now it is a museum with a huge collection of European art. You can have the experience of a lifetime in this museum.
The Bronze Horseman
It is a breathtaking monument to Peter the Great. Catherine the Great ordered to make the monument. It has the inscription in Latin and Russian. The marrying couples always take photos there.
The Kunstkammer
This is the first museum in Russia founded by Peter the Great who collected curioucities; stuffed animals, model ships, tools and astronomical instruments. If you like to be scared out of your wits, don’t forget to go to the room with anatomical specimens.
