How It Works
The type writer works with springs and levers. When the key of the type writer is pressed a key connected to the lever called a type hammer falls towrads the paper. A ribbion of ink is lifted when the hammer is going to hit the paper the ink is stamped on the paper in the shpe of the letter or number pressed.
Who invented it?
The typewriter was invented by Christopher Lathom Sholes in 1867 in Wisconson.
Impact on Society
This machine has had a huge impact on how work is done in offices and schools. People are able to prepare and write their documents faster and neater than before!
