Wear PINK again...

I have been asked if staff may wear pink again next Friday. Of course!

October eCLASS Focus

On our work day, you were provided 4 new ideas that can be added to your eClass page:

Symbaloo, formative assessments, choice boards and video note. Please implement at least 2 of these instructional strategies into your eClass page between now and November 11. Heather will send out a survey the week of Nov. 14 for your feedback on which ones you tried. Thanks.

Upcoming Vertical Team Meetings

Math & STEM Vertical Teams meet on Thursday. Literacy Vertical Team meets on Monday, 10/24. Be prepared for your sub!

Expectation that you follow the school master schedule...

Please make sure you are following our master schedule. For example, if you are supposed to be teaching math at 10 AM, you need to be teaching math at 10 AM in order for support staff to be able to provide student support. This is an item that I forgot to cover during our TLC meeting but one that needed to be addressed. Thanks.

Students need to leave Pokemon cards at home

Inform students on Monday they need to take all Pokemon cards home and not bring them to school. Apparently, these are very popular and they are becoming a distraction and have caused behavior issues recently. If you read this today, please email Heather Bridges no later than 3:30 PM today with the heading "I read staff stuff" for a drawing for lunch next Tuesday.

Time for some PBIS Recognition!

Classy Cougar and 'On A Roll' rewards will be handed out on Friday, Oct. 21. Please have your student list submitted to Heather by the end of the day on Monday, Oct. 17. Forms can be submitted via email or placed in the folder outside Heather's office.

Make-up DAs

Make up DAs can be administered on your classroom computers on a rolling basis or send students to the Cub lab at 8:20. Students should come to the lab with their test passcode on a sticky note for the test they need to complete or make up. All make-ups need to be completed on Monday, for any student who is present that day.

Have a great weekend!
