"Autumn Bash Parade"

Friday, Oct. 30th, 9-10am

2510 Mills Branch Drive

Houston, TX

Every year we enjoy watching the children parade in their fall costumes and celebrate the beautiful fall season. The day starts with a costume parade at 9:00 am. Parents may wait at the front of the school to take the first photos. After the children have walked around and through the school twice, they will end up on the playground for some whole group shots. Please be patient with our costumed characters, it may take a while to get them staged, but it is always worth it.

After the parade, you may take class shots. The children will then return to the classrooms for Fall parties and events; refreshments will be provided for the children by the room parents.

School ends with a noon dismissal; extended care will be until 4:00 pm.

Volunteer Coffee

Tuesday, October 20 - Volunteer Coffee - 6:30 - 7:30pm, Starbucks, Northpark Drive. If you have signed up to be a member of the PLG, to be a Room Parent, or to Volunteer in any way, we would like to start the year off right with a Meet and Greet. No pressure just a social occasion.

Paloma Rodriguez (Class 210) needs our support

In early September, we got the very sad news that Ms. Paloma our beloved Toddler teacher had contracted leukemia and was being sent to MD Anderson for treatment. Throughout this time, she has been getting chemotherapy and amazing support from her wonderful family members and many friends at Kingwood Montessori School.

As you can imagine the treatments are not cheap. We would like to honor Ms. Paloma, by sending you the link to her fundraising page. Which was set up by our very dear friend and our school founder Bonnie Zimmer.

We know that Ms. Paloma would be very grateful for any and all contributions while she is going through this expensive recovery process. She is also available on facebook if you would like to send her a personal message:

Thank you.

Annual Food Drive

Tinned and packaged goods may be sent to school as part of our annual civic engagement. Everything will be distributed to charities by November 19, 2015.
