Why I chose to learn Yoga
I chose to learn Yoga because I knew that it was said to be a healthy way to relieve stress and I had a lot going on in my life. I chose my mother to be my mentor because she has been doing Yoga for 10 years and I knew that she would be able to help me. Not only does yoga help with stress, it helps maintain the mind, body, and soul. I knew that if i tried to learn yoga it would be something that I would enjoy and it would be very helpful in many different aspects.

“Exercises are like prose, whereas yoga is the poetry of movements. Once you understand the grammar of yoga; you can write your poetry of movements.”

Learning Yoga has been a life changing experience. Not only has it helped me deal with my stress in a positive and healthy way, it has become a healthy routine and a fun way of bonding with my mom. I am thankful for this project because it has given me a new hobby. I will continue to do yoga not only to stay in shape but also to manage any struggles that life throws my way.
