The best tip we know is eat more fruits and veggies and work out often. Avoid junk food and processed food at all costs. Any exercise is good but the best is the exercises that make ur heart pump the fastest.

Includes sugars, starches, and fiber

SUGARS( the simplest form of carb)

Metabolized very quickly

STARCHES( made up of simple sugars)

Metabolized very slow

FIBER ( no calories) cannot be digested. Keeps digestive system healthy.

GLYCOGEN( stored in muscle)

Immediate energy source.


Made of amino acids combine to form large protein chains

Builds and repairs structures

Regulate processes in the body

Needed to make hormones and enzymes.


Essential aa- cannot produce

Non essential 11 can produce.

The good: The main form of energy storage in the body

The bad: saturated high cholesterol heart disease, solid at room temp.

Unsaturated fat healthier fats liquid at room temp.

The ugly: found in fat foods. Trans fat is unsaturated as been converted to saturated fats. Unhealthy raises LDL levels I'm blood.

Vitamins, minerals, and water have no calories but are all very important.
