THE FIVE VALUES OF LINCOLN
INTERGRITY EMPATHY OPEN-MINDEDNESS EQUITY AND FUN
Message from Principal Smith
Hello LCPA Families,
As we enter the holiday season, it is a great time to reflect and practice gratitude. This year, we have seen many challenges. However, we still have much for which to be thankful. Our students have overcome struggles and barriers to arrive to school and do their best each day. Our teachers are working hard to help students succeed and provide support for the continuous improvement of our school. Our families are stepping up to help in so many ways that we can’t help but be in awe at the outpouring of love. Although the world around us can be chaotic and things can often feel overwhelming, we are blessed to have one another and be a part of something so special…The Lincoln Family.
XOXO,
Principal Smith

LCPA Tardy Policy Reminders
LCPA has updated the arrival expectations and implemented tardy deterrence strategies.
Arrival time is 7:20 AM. Please note, that arrival time means that students are in their appropriate classrooms at 7:20 am.
Students who arrive or are not in their first class by this time will need to report to the office for a pass to class.
LCPA has implemented random hall freezes to encourage students to arrive to class on time. Students who are not in class when the freeze is announced will report to the Auditorium and anticipate the outcomes listed below:
1st Tardy: Students will receive a verbal warning.
2nd Tardy: Administrator will send an email or Talking Points to alert families.
3rd Tardy: Student will call home with their grade-level administrator to discuss attendance and be placed on the No Pass List. Students will remain on the no-pass list until the end of the
grading period.
Fourth + Tardy: Students will serve an hour of community service for each additional offense.
Students must have 90% attendance to remain in good standing at LCPA.
LCPA Annual Holiday Food Drive: Sponsored by Student Council
Join us in making a difference this holiday season by supporting the LCPA Holiday Food Drive!
Each year, our goal is to bring joy to LCPA families facing challenges by providing them with holiday food baskets. We warmly invite you to contribute non-perishable food items such as canned vegetables and boxed foods. Our current needs include canned vegetables/fruits, dried pastas, canned or jarred sauces, bagged potatoes, rice, sugar, flour, granola bars, and canned meats (tuna, salmon, etc).
Your generosity holds the power to create a significant impact! Please consider dropping off your donations at the Main Office from December 5, 2023, to December 12, 2023, between the hours of 9:00 am - 3:00 pm.
Let's unite as a community to bring joy and support to those in need. We sincerely appreciate your kindness and support.
