Georgia College 12th Annual Fall High School Choral Day

Friday, Sep. 29th, 8:30am-4:30pm

PORTER FINE ARTS, 210 N. WILKINSON ST, Milledgeville, GA 31061

This one-day event is a chance for your students to meet and work with Georgia College music faculty, other high school singers, and the Max Noah Singers. We will begin the day with registration between 8:30 and 9 a.m. followed by rehearsals, a vocal masterclass, lunch with Max Noah Singers, more rehearsals, and a campus tour. The day will culminate in a mini-performance at 4 p.m. which should last no more than a half an hour.

We will also have a vocal masterclass in the morning at which students may sing an accompanied solo and work with a member of our voice faculty in front of all participants. If any of your students are interested, please have them fill in a solo choice on the registration form and bring a copy of their solo for our accompanist. The choral repertoire for the day is listed below. We will also have sessions for the attending music educators on contemporary a cappella and technology which will take place during two of the combined rehearsals. If you are a choral director who is planning to bring a group, please RSVP.

RSVPs are enabled for this event.

Friday, September 29 - 12th annual fall event (16th total)

The cost for the day is $30 per student, which includes the luncheon and a commemorative t-shirt. The RSVP and registration form may be found above. Please bring as many high school singers as you would like to bring and have each individual student submit the form. Each choral director should RSVP with the approximate number of students you plan to bring. If you plan to bring more than 5 students, either you must either attend or send a parent chaperone. I will confirm each school's registration list the week before the event and more information by email. The forms are due by Friday, September 15, in order to give us time to make lunch reservations and order t-shirts. Final numbers are due Friday, September 22 and payment is requested by Friday, September 29.
