SCHOOL PROCEDURES

Food and drink items are not to be consumed on the bus: State laws prohibit food and drink on the bus. We have made an exception to allow water on these very hot days!
**Lunch orders DUE DATE CHANGE: Starting with lunches the week of Sept. 17, lunch orders are due by noon the WEDNESDAY prior to the week of the order. Unfortunately, we are not able to accept late orders. Thanks for your cooperation and understanding.
Absences: If your student is going to be absent or tardy, please notify the school by phone call (717-375-2223) or email (marendt@shalomca.com for middle and high school students, and jdunagan@shalomca.com for elementary students). We require a physician’s note for any medical or dental appointment.
Educational Trips: If you are planning to take your student out of school for an educational trip (absence of three or more school days) please be sure to fill out an educational trip form and turn it into the office at least two weeks in advance of the trip. The form can be found on the school website under forms and documents. Feel free to call the school if you have questions.
