November 8th is National STEM Day - Celebrating STEM in JUHSD
National S.T.E.M./S.T.E.A.M. Day is held on November 8th, encouraging and inspiring young people to explore and pursue their interests in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math.
JUHSD Career Technical Education(CTE) pathways offer a curriculum that aims to strengthen S.T.E.A.M. literacy and ignite interest in S.T.E.A.M.-related careers among all students. Our CTE programs are high-quality and provide a deeper understanding of S.T.E.A.M. career pathways, building interest and skills in S.T.E.A.M. by making content more relevant and tangible. CTE pathways demonstrate the link between what's taught in the classroom with the wider world. CTE Capstone graduates will gain the skills and knowledge necessary to be global citizens, effective communicators, industry-ready, problem solvers, critical thinkers, and leaders. Our project- and problem-based learning illustrates the power of CTE and S.T.E.A.M. to address real-world challenges.
