CR West Week 8

To Know God and To Make Him Known

Thanks everyone for being flexible about my absence! We are a team, and when one link is weak the others band together to keep things on track. I feel so blessed to be part of this community! We all play a part in making CR West a great place to learn and play. I have seen so many of you pitch in to help with each other's children, meet needs on community day, and bear each others burdens. This is the body of Christ, friends!

Get Ready for....Crayfish!

For the next two weeks of science we'll be dissecting (to a degree) crayfish and owl pellets. First up on Monday is crayfish. We won't actually cut open the crayfish but rather examine them and poke around a bit. Please prepare your children if you think they may be sensitive to this type of thing. I have been told that the smell is rather strong, too, so please be prepared for that as well. If you have any type of shellfish allergy you should not handle the crayfish in any way. I will provide latex free, stretch synthetic gloves for the children though they need not touch the crayfish. If you are interested in taking one home after community day to further dissect at home please let me know.

Thanks for my "partners in crime" for sending me some know who you are! :-)
