A Note from Mrs. Fadeji...
We're getting close! We are so excited to welcome your students back to campus next week for our first day of school, Thursday, July 22nd. Please note that Thursday is a short day which means we'll follow our typical Wednesday schedule. Forgot what our schedule was like before COVID? No worries! You can find our bell schedule here. In case you need to reference it again, it's always on our website and we'll have hard copies available in the office of both the bell schedule and the school calendar which can be found here.
In the coming days, I will be learning about the developing state and county COVID guidance regarding schools opening. As these things become clear, I will share them with our community. Some of my questions which I know you probably have also are:
- What does recess look like?
- What does lunch look like?
- Are masks required at all times indoors?
- Can families be on campus and to what extent? Just the first day?
- Volunteers?
- Events?
- Assigned bathrooms?
So much to learn in just a few short days, but our team is ready to jump into action and make this year an unforgettable experience for your #pennpanther!
Make sure you scan through this newsletter so you don't miss out on any upcoming important events or dates.
More to come,
Mrs. Fadeji

If you prefer to skip a trip to school, email your signed student emergency card to Yesenia (yespino@petk12.org) and she will email you a welcome letter from your child's teacher within 24 hours.
While you're on campus, please remember:
- masks are currently required at all times while indoors
- members of Team Penn are busy planning for the start to school so share a smile or wave from afar and keep on moving
- the PTA pop-up shop is open on Wednesday from 9am-2pm outside the multi

Please note, these supply kits are already in classrooms waiting for your students and replace the individual items that teachers request annually.
If you wish to purchase a panther supply kit, they are available on our website, in the office, or at any logowear pop-up shop!
PTA has pre-purchased enough supplies for every single student and will provide kits to all students, regardless of their ability to purchase one. Our goal is to break even on the costs of supplies versus the sales. If there is a surplus in sales, the money will be reflected on an amended PTA budget and be funneled right back into creating magic for our community.
Already bought a supply kit last year?! Don't worry, you're good to go and you do NOT need to purchase a new supply kit. Can't remember if you bought one? Log into the PTA website and look at your previous orders, this is the only way orders were accepted last year.

Adrian Flores Brambila - Night Custodian
Adrian will go by Mr. Adrian with our students.
Kanani O'Donnell - TK Instructional Assistant
Kanani will go by "Mrs. O" with our precious TK students.
Hannah Stuyt - 3rd Grade Teacher
Hannah is SO excited to be back at Penngrove to be a panther again! She student taught here from 2016-2017 and then taught both 5th grade and 1st grade. She loves playing with her dog, Evie, eating sushi and Mexican food, and of course drinking all the coffee. She can’t wait to get the year started with this beautiful team and her new amazing 3rd graders!
Hannah will go by Ms. Stuyt with her students - it’s pronounced like “kite” but with an S in the front ;)
Angie Miljkovic - Library Coordinator
Angie's last name Miljkovic is pronounced Milk-ah-vitch but she's planning to go by "Mrs. M" with our students.
