Insomnia Theater Event
Come out and see Insomnia Theater's second show of the year! The show will feature a series of short comedic one-act plays that were written, rehearsed, produced, designed and performed all within 24 hours. This show will also feature a special performance from the Temple Tappers! The performance is on Saturday, October 19th at 7 PM in the Student Center Underground. Tickets are $3 (cash or venmo)!
Blue Jean Go Green Sustainability Initiative
Temple University’s American Marketing Association is hosting a week-long jean drive (October 21st-25th) through Blue Jeans Go Green. This organization takes denim that people no longer want and breaks the denim down back to its cotton state. Once it’s there, they turn it into cheap insulation for housing projects. The jeans can be of any quality (it doesn’t matter if they have holes).
Hyphen Lit & Art Magazine
Hyphen Literary & Art Magazine is a student-operated publication currently accepting submissions for the 2019–2020 issue! Hyphen accepts submissions of poetry, prose, short stories, photography, and visual art from all Temple undergraduate students. If interested, submit your creative works at hyphen.submittable.com. Have questions? Feel free to reach out on Instagram @hyphenlitmag, or via email at hyphen.temple@gmail.com.
Cherry Pantry Canstruction Contest
Want to help can hunger on campus? The TU Management Consulting Program is sponsoring a canstruction contest to benefit Cherry Pantry, the food pantry on campus from November 11-15! A canstruction is a structure made from unopened cans of food that are later donated. The size and color of the cans is your creative vehicle. Get your club, residence hall wing, team, or group of friends together and help fill the pantry before the holiday season begins! Prizes include pizza AND Insomnia cookies.
