Shout Outs
Thank you Fran Mongin for volunteering to be the teaching liaison for the PTA! If there is anyone else interested in assisting her, please let Mrs. Breaux know.
Missy Bogle, while you do not want any recognition, thank you for being an angel in disguise and seeking a donation of a BEAUTIFUL holiday tree for the foyer. It is gorgeous and will continue to bring many smiles to Lynnhaven throughout the holiday season!
Thank you to Bly and Wooten for coming to the rescue to assist with putting together the Lion. Also, thank you again, along with Sprat, for helping to decorate the tree!
Thank you to our amazing tutoring team for a wonderful first week of tutoring! Thanks to our 4th and 5th grade teachers for your support with tutoring too! Special thanks to Epps for helping manage our first day of tutoring, and for recruiting more kiddos (literally tracking them down) and making sure they get those permission slips in!
Kudos to Mrs. Shoemaker and Ms. Johnson for an awesome Winter Holiday Concert! Such talented students!
Awesome job to our Pre-K teams for hosting an amazing Classroom in Action event! Want to get parents in to see what students are learning in your classrooms? Talk to Pre-K to see how they had a wonderful turnout!
Thank you McGuire-Day and Morgan for hosting an awesome book fair! A lot of work goes into planning and organizing the book fair. Thank you ladies!

How Can You Participate?
We are so excited to have the school participate! These activities are just the tip of the iceberg for bringing computer Science into your classrooms…
See Geri for a coaching cycle on how to incorporate our VA CS Standards (http://www.doe.virginia.gov/testing/sol/standards_docs/computer-science/index.shtml) into your lessons!
Let’s continue to engage our kids ALL year long!
Morning Meeting Slides: Geri will have the Share (yellow slides) on the morning announcements.
