Jag News
Summer Updates for July 26 - 30
Message from the Principal
Good afternoon Jags!
As we wrap up the summer break before the 21-22 school year, we are starting to share a lot of information through email and the Jag News. There is a lot information below regarding Prep Days, Cub Camp for freshmen, PTSA info, and celebrations for some of our Jags over the summer.
Every day we are starting to get more students back on campus as different groups start their practices for this year! It is great to see our Jags back and getting ready for a big year!
Enjoy your last few weeks off with family and friends as we finish final prep work for the school year. Remember when you return that it is an opportunity for every student to start out perfect in every class and with your attendance. Work hard and study to do your best from the beginning and it will become a great habit as you go through the 21-22 school year.
We are looking forward to seeing you on campus soon! Go Jags!
Sincerely,
Gary Comalander - Principal

Parking Permits Srs & Jrs for 21-22
All seniors and juniors that have submitted a parking permit application that was approved will be able to receive a parking permit before the start of the school year. Please have your child check their student email for an email from Mr. Berg that contains a payment link.
A few students received an email stating that they still need to send additional documentation (updated driver's license, insurance, etc.). The required documentation can still be emailed to Mr. Berg for approval.
We still have parking permits available for the 2021-2022 school year. Seniors and juniors can complete a parking permit application anytime during the school year. The application information is located on the Johnson High School webpage (https://www.neisd.net/johnson).
Students who have outstanding fines, technology obligations, or parking tickets will not be allowed to purchase a parking permit until those obligations have been cleared.
Please feel free to email if you have any questions or want me to check on the status of your child's application.
Sincerely,
Steve Berg

Texas Boys State for Jags!
Congrats to our 5 Jag students that participated in the 85th annual Texas Boys State this summer! CJ Adair, Connor Gillespie, David Payne, Ryan Post, and Aidan Souder. Johnson Dance Summer Fun!
Johnson Dance has been busy prepping for the year ahead! This summer has been a productive one. All Officers, Managers, Legacies Varsity Dance, and Belles JV Dance attended camps hosted at our home campus to learn material that will be showcased at upcoming pep rallies & football games.
These camps gave both teams an opportunity to learn choreography, but more importantly, reiterated ways on how to serve their team & community. We are looking forward to an exciting year ahead as we cheer on our Jaguars!
Please be on the lookout for information regarding our Lil’ Ladybird Dance Clinic this fall. We have missed this annual event and cannot wait to dance on the field again with our Lil’ Ladybirds! Take a look at the flyer attached to Save the Date.
