WE MADE IT!!!
Our first few days have been wonderful! I want to celebrate the fact that we are back in school, whether it be face to face or virtual. Our students are engaging with their teachers and the learning has started! It has been a pleasure to see smiling faces as I visit classrooms and screens. Thank you for your support in all that is asked as we begin the first week of school. Also, thank you for your patience as we continue to fine tune things that still need attention. The staff is working very hard to make each day smooth and successful.
When students arrive for latchkey in the morning, we check temperatures and then space them out to do activities of their choice. Please help by sending some things with your child that he/she enjoys doing. You can send one plastic shoebox size container with things to do such as legos, matchbox cars, dolls, art supplies, puzzles, activity books, etc. Please keep in mind that this will stay in the storage area in latchkey and be used each day. It will not go back home each night. Be sure to label the box. Students do not share materials.
Back to School Reminders!
- Morning drop off begins at 8:40.
- Please do not get out of your car to walk students to the building.
- If your child has not brought a recess bag, it's not too late. It has been very helpful in keeping students engaged and distanced while outside. Students are responsible for keeping bags zipped and stored in the classroom for safe keeping.
- Please be sure your child knows if he/she is a car rider, bus rider, or walker for dismissal.
