At-Home Learning Complete

Due to three weather related school closures this school year, District 41 opted to implement the Illinois State Board of Education At-Home Learning opportunity to make up for the closed days and not impact the end of the year calendar. The At-Home Learning opportunity across the district is now complete. Thank you to all who worked hard to make At-Home Learning a possibility. This effort allowed District 41 to keep the last day of school as June 6.

Assignments for both students and staff, to be completed at home, were given in order to count for these closed school days. Staff and students were given a month to complete the work and the assignments were due on April 22. If a student or staff did not complete the assigned work by April 22, they were not given credit.

Please note: Not all weather related school closures will be treated as At-Home Learning days. District Administration will decide how to handle future closures with guidance from the Illinois State Board of Education.
