Sharing Data
As we look at adding joy and rigor to all we do, we should think about how vital the relationship is that we are working to build with our parents! It's important that they know the data we use and the purpose for gathering the data.

When you share this data with parents and students, you are not only bringing them into the educational conversation but you are also allowing them to take ownership as well, which reinforces the partnership we have with them. This helps us reach our goal to build those relationships!

By celebrating the good data and analyzing it to build weaker areas, we are truly letting the data drive the instruction!

Friday- STANDARDS DAY 1:00PM-4:00PM (Outlook Invite will be sent)

Did you know that we offer a Mentor Meet Up twice a month? Do you think your new learning coaches would like to be connected with some experienced learning coaches? This is a great time for any learning coach to be encouraged, get some tips, and make new connections. They are being held in Sarah Robinson’s room (link is sent out to families) at 4:00pm. Below are the dates for the fall.

10/15, 10/30, 11/13, 11/30, 12/14

· SIOP Reminder of Training deadlines were communicated to all staff in the virtual PD by Stephanie on August 20th. No changes since then. Please see attachment for deadlines.


· Interpreter Reminder: If you need the information again, please let Stephanie know.


· Texas Training Center is the site that the state has been housing teacher’s training history for TELPAS Rating calibration. As of October 16, 2015 it will no longer deliver TELPAS online training courses. Please login and download all your certificates of completion. Please see the attachment for more details.

K12 TRAINING INFORMATION

-This year K12 National Professional Development sessions are encouraged, but not required.

-The Teach Like a Champion “Systems and Routines” series is required. Please space out the sessions and have them all complete by May 1st, 2016.

There are 6 sessions (1 live and 5 asynchronous). These can be completed in any order.

Submitting a Ticket to the Help Desk

All issues must be submitted to the National Help Desk at www.k12nationalhelpdesk.com You cannot submit a ticket by email. This will ensure the most reliable response and eliminate information that is not being included in the emails.
